MUSON BASIC SCHOOL

Guidelines
- Registration for both new & returning students are now online.
- The School term is ten weeks (10 weeks)
- Lessons are given once in a week (at most twice in a week)
- Students are required to choose any preferred day of the week for their lessons (excluding Sundays), subject to agreement with the Instructor.
- For other instruments except the Piano, students must bring the instrument they wish to learn when attending lessons at the Centre.
- Piano students are adviced to own the instrument for practice at home.
- Please note that the tuition fee for Theory and Practical classes are paid separately.
New Student
Tuition fee for lesson per course (Theory/Practical)
- 30 minutes per week for 10 weeks – N70,000
- 1 hour per week for 10 weeks – N100,000
To Register :
- Choose your preferred lesson per week.
- Click “Register” to proceed.
- Upload your proof of payment.
Please note that the registration fee is COMPULSORY and must be paid along with the tuition fee.
RETURNING Student
Tuition fee for lesson per course (Theory/Practical)
- 30 minutes per week for 10 weeks – N70,000
- 1 hour per week for 10 weeks – N100,000
To Register :

- Kindly come with proof of ID card.
Other Basic School activities are :
- MUSON Graded Theory and Practical examinations offered twice a year (May & November).
- Teacher training workshops.
- Annual Winners concert and School competition for primary and secondary school children in various categories: choir, solo (voice or instrument) and duets for piano and recorder.
- Basic student’s concerts and Suzuki violin classes for young children ages 3 – 6 years.
The Basic School has trained students seeking advance music training in the MTNF/MUSON Diploma school leading to a career in music.
Through our Basic School we have trained many children who otherwise would not have experienced the opportunity of playing a musical instrument. We are proud of Glen Inanga, Bolaji Omotayo, and Omolegho Bello who have embarked upon international performance careers from our Basic School training.
